Status: Certified Therapy Dog

Born on June 12, 2023, Charlie started life out as a service dog-in-training for another non-profit service dog organization based in Texas. However, after 3 eye surgeries due to entropion, Charlie went through a career change. He was adopted out from that program and joined the Southern Comfort family in 2024. After lots of training and re-socialization, Charlie made a career change and became a Certified Therapy Dog through Alliance of Therapy Dogs in the summer of 2025. He now frequently visits nursing homes and makes new friends everywhere he goes! Charlie loves carrying his toys around the house, bringing leaves to the Amazon delivery man, and giving brother Goose kisses.
